Abstract

Early childhood education plays a strategic role in shaping children's religious and moral character from the golden age. One form of worship that is easily introduced to children is the habit of reciting daily prayers integrated into daily activities. However, religious instruction in early childhood education (PAUD) is often delivered conventionally, making it less engaging for children. This article aims to examine the habit of reciting daily prayers through hand puppets as a strategy for strengthening religious values and moral character in the Early Childhood Education Independent Curriculum (ECI). The research used a qualitative approach using literature review methods, including books, scientific articles, and early childhood education regulations. The results indicate that the use of hand puppets can increase learning interest, increase children's engagement, and effectively internalize religious values through daily prayer activities. This habit aligns with the learning outcomes of religious values and moral character and supports the formation of the Pancasila Student Profile. The implications of the research emphasize the importance of innovative, contextual and enjoyable religious learning media in early childhood education.
