GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES ON ISLAM AND HUMANITIES: PROCEEDINGS FROM THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MODERN CHALLENGES

This article explores the intersection of Islam and humanities, focusing on contemporary challenges discussed during the International Conference on Islam and Humanities. The aim is to analyze how Islamic thought contributes to understanding global issues through a humanistic lens. By utilizing a library research and content analysis methodology, this study reviews scholarly articles, conference papers, and discussions from global thought leaders, examining their perspectives on topics such as multiculturalism, social justice, and moral philosophy within the Islamic context. Key findings reveal that Islamic scholarship offers unique insights into global challenges, emphasizing the importance of solidarity, ethical governance, and intercultural dialogue. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in integrating Islamic perspectives with humanistic frameworks, offering fresh perspectives for contemporary global issues. Practically, it proposes a model for Islamic humanities that can inform policy-making, educational practices, and international cooperation. This article adds to the current discussion by illustrating the significance of Islamic humanism in tackling contemporary global issues and promoting the incorporation of various cultural perspectives in addressing global challenges.
