PENGUATAN KAPASITAS PRODUKSI KOPI BIKLA BINAAN BAZNAS DI LERENG GUNUNG ARGHOPURO

Jember is known as a leading center for robusta, arabica, and liberica coffee farming, which thrives on the slopes of Mount Argopuro. However, the combination of coffee farmers' production inputs is still suboptimal, resulting in low and unstable yields. Therefore, production capacity building is needed for greater efficiency and quality. The aim of this research is to strengthen the production capacity of BIKLA Coffee, fostered by BAZNAS, on the slopes of Mount Argopuro. The community service method uses a participatory approach.capacity buildingThe program to increase BIKLA Coffee production capacity includes three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The BAZNAS-assisted BIKLA Coffee capacity building program improves production efficiency and quality through GPP training, post-harvest processing innovations, and supporting tools to optimize sorting, drying, roasting, and packaging, resulting in more consistent coffee quality. The socio-economic impact is seen in increased farmer income, the utilization of waste into compost, and the strengthening of business institutions. Future BIKLA Coffee production assistance can focus on marketing digitalization, the implementation of quality certifications such as halal and organic, and the diversification of derivative products.
