INTEGRASI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PENGUATAN KETAHANAN PANGAN BERBASIS MASYARAKAT DI DESA PURWOGONDO

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase food self-sufficiency in Purwogondo Village through the sustainable use of productive yard land. The activity was implemented using a participatory approach, directly involving the community in stages from planning to evaluation. The methods used included field observation, socialization of the importance of household-based food security, distribution of vegetable and productive plant seeds, and technical assistance on planting and maintenance methods. The results of the activity showed a positive response and high enthusiasm from the community in utilizing yards. The results of the service indicate an increase in public awareness of the meaning of food management as part of worship and social responsibility. In addition, a collaborative network can be formed between religious leaders, farmer groups, and village officials to strengthen solidarity, increase food productivity, and encourage local economic independence. Thus, the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is a strategic step in enhancing spirituality and strengthening community-based food security.
