PENDAMPINGAN PROGRAM TAHFIDZ AL- QUR’AN PESERTA DIDIK DENGAN METODE TALAQQI DI SD PEMBANGUNAN LABORATOIRUM UNP

Abstract

The mentoring program for the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an at the Elementary School of Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP, Padang City aims strengthen students' ability to memorize verses of the Al - Qur'an in accordance with the rules of tajwid through extracurricular Tahfidz activities. This is motivated by the low motivation of students in memorizing the Qur'an, the low quality of students' recitation of the Qur'an, and the fact that some students recite the Qur'an in a manner that does not comply with the rules of tajwid. The Qur’an serves as a guide and source of direction for human life, and important for all Muslims to learn and practice in daily life. Tahfidz mentoring program apply the Talaqqi method, which is one of the traditional approaches used in teaching Qur’anic memorization (Tahfidzul Qur’an). In this method, the teacher and student sit face-to-face; the teacher recites the verses while the student listens attentively, then recites back the memorized verses to the teacher for correction and validation. The mentoring process uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, involving 45 students from different grade levels ranging from 3 grades to 5 grades. The process consists of several stages, there are planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the mentoring program use the Talaqqi method, the students show great enthusiasm in participating. There has been noticeable improvement in their Qur’anic recitation, although some students still make minor mistakes related to tajwid. The program also actively involves parents at home to help maintain and review their children’s memorization. Through this Tahfidz program, it is hoped that a generation of hafiz and hafizah (Qur’an memorizers) will emerge, the students who not only memorize the Qur’an but also recite it correctly according to its meaning and tajwid, and apply in their daily lifes.
