PENINGKATAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA GENERASI ALPHA MELALUI SEMINAR PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA DI ERA ABAD 21

The Alpha Generation Mathematics Education Seminar: Responding to the Challenges of Teaching Mathematics to the Alpha Generation in the 21st Century aims to provide prospective educators with an understanding of the importance of innovative learning methods tailored to the characteristics of today's students. Generation Alpha, born in 2010 and beyond, grew up in a technology-rich digital environment, resulting in a visual, interactive, and experience-based learning style. This situation requires teachers to abandon conventional methods and shift to contextual, creative, and technology-based learning approaches. The seminar was held on October 18, 2025, at KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University in Banyuwangi, with lecturers from the Mathematics Education as speakers. The seminar included material presentations, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The results showed that participants gained new insights into the challenges and strategies of mathematics learning in the digital era. Based on a satisfaction survey, 75% of participants reported being very satisfied with the material and implementation of the activity. Overall, this seminar successfully raised students' awareness of the importance of teachers as adaptive and inspiring facilitators in presenting engaging mathematics learning to Generation Alpha. This activity also contributed to the development of innovative learning strategies relevant to the demands of 21st-century education.
