PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN MODUL PELAJARAN UNTUK GURU SLB DENGAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI): TRANSFORMASI KOMPETENSI PENDIDIK KHUSUS DI ERA DIGITAL

This community service program aimed to enhance the digital competency of special education teachers at SLB Mutiara Hati Permata through intensive training in creating learning modules using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program was conducted on September 23, 2025, involving five special education teachers. Using a blended learning workshop approach, the training combined theoretical sessions, hands-on practice, and peer learning. Pre-training assessment revealed that 80% of teachers were unfamiliar with AI technology, spending up to 2 days to develop a single learning objective module. Post-training evaluation demonstrated remarkable transformation: 100% of teachers achieved proficiency in operating AI tools (ChatGPT and Claude), reducing module development time by more than 95% from 2 days to mere minutes. The training significantly enhanced teachers' creativity in designing adaptive learning materials, deepened their understanding of pedagogical and psychological aspects of special education, and improved their capacity to create truly personalized and inclusive learning experiences. These findings validate the effectiveness of intensive hands-on training in bridging the digital divide among special education teachers and demonstrate AI's transformative potential in enhancing the quality of inclusive education.
