Peer Review Process

In the review process, IMTIYAZ: Jurnal Ilmu Keislaman involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers. Where in the review process, IMTIYAZ applies the double-blind review model to maintain confidentiality. Every submitted manuscript is checked first by the editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and the IMTIYAZ writing guidelines, then the document is forwarded to the reviewer to review the content and novelty of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A minimum of 2 reviewers will review each document for approximately 1-2 weeks with the criteria for assessing the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers. Articles that have been submitted take an average of about 16 weeks to publish.
