Focus & Scope
Tazkiyah: Journal of Islamic Psychology is a journal that focuses on the development of psychological science from an Islamic perspective. The journal aims to facilitate scholarly discussions and disseminate empirical, theoretical, and applied research that integrates psychological science with Islamic values, concepts, and perspectives.
The journal welcomes original research that examines psychological phenomena among Muslim individuals, groups, families, communities, and organizations, as well as studies that contribute to the development of Islamic psychology as a scientific discipline. Articles that merely use Muslim populations as research participants without demonstrating a clear connection to or contribution to the Islamic psychology perspective are not the primary focus of the journal.
