Peer Review Process

Tazkiyah: Journal Of Islamic Psychology applies a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of published articles. Each submitted manuscript is first screened by the editorial team to assess its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, and compliance with the submission guidelines.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, quality of analysis and discussion, relevance to Islamic psychology, and overall contribution to psychological science.

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor makes the final decision regarding the manuscript, which may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, resubmission for review, or rejection. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation before a final decision is made.

The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. The final decision is made by the editor based on the quality of the manuscript and the reviewers' evaluations.
